The Dead Good Poets online anthology of poetry by writers from and associated with Aberdeen was published in 2006/2007 with funding from Aberdeen City Council.

John Sweet

John Sweet, born 1968, married, father of two, owner of a slowly collapsing house. Opposed to a great many things, including most formal schools of thought. A believer in poetry as catharsis, and in the necessity of ugliness to help define beauty. Lives in Endicott, upstate NY.

Publications include e-chapbooks: Silence in the House of Truths, 2003, and empires, falling, 2005. Chapbooks, Enemy (2004, PinkAnarchKittyPress), Famine (2004, Leaf Press) He also has a full length collection, Human Cathedrals (2003, Ravenna Press).
